There were plenty of Redbacks who either played in a Club competition or were “out-n-about” representing the Narrandera Bowling Club over the past week.
David Ivanoff won the final of the club open singles, defeating Peter Durnan 25-22.
This was a great game of bowls to watch.
Peter shot out with an early lead of 11-4, but David gradually played his way back into the game with the score getting to 13 all.
From then on, it was shot for shot until the last couple of ends where David brought home the win to be crowned the NBC Open Singles Champion.
Dan Staudinger and Cody O’Keeffe travelled to Sydney to play in the Champion of Champions State Playoffs. The pair won their games through to the last 32 teams. This was a massive effort and one to be extremely proud of.
Two Narrandera teams attended the Leeton & District Presidents Day with Colin Rankin, Lenny Clarke, Jim Durnan, and Bruce Russell winning the day's event.
