Narrandera High School Under 15s Boys Basketball team travelled to Griffith for the South West Gala Day in the CHS State Knock-Out recently.

All of the boys played well throughout the day, with teamwork, tenacity and a whole lot of skill on display for all to see.

After defeating Wade High School by eight points in a tough contest, they progressed to the final against a Griffith High School side that had recently made the semi-finals of the NSW Basketball all Schools Tournament.

Narrandera boys did not let this stop them as they fought tooth and nail on every possession, for every loose ball, for every rebound and they didn't stop until the final buzzer sounded.

Griffith High School were too good in the end with a 20 point victory, while NHS boys finished second out of seven schools in the south west region.
