There was a large turnout for the Narrandera Shire Council’s Local Government Week field day at the Marie Bashir Park last week.

The Field Day began with an official opening by the mayor before attendees set off on the interactive Council Discovery Trail.

The crowd explored a range of hands-on displays and demonstrations showcasing the work of council. These included road graders, rollers and tractors, drones, surveying equipment and a remote-control drain camera.

Other activities took place at the Narrandera Library, but the Mobile Library was located at the Field Day.
