Young Narrandera Golfer Braxton Ivanoff took out the Jack Newton Junior Golf Junior Open at Deniliquin on 28 September.

The JNJG events are for juniors over 13 years and it is an 18 hole event.

Leading by two shots Braxton made the 18th hole a challenge by hitting his drive into the water, but with his capabilities and composure he managed to maintain his lead by one shot with a total score of plus 5.

This was rated a great score as Deniliquin is a great course with water running through, dog leg fairways and creeks to play alongside making it a hard challenge, not to mention the numerous amount of bunkers.
