The Narrandera Imperial Eagles’ Football Netball Club has appointed Mitchell Fennessy as the Senior Football Coach for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

Fennessy comes to the Eagles with an impressive coaching background, having previously served as Senior Coach at Tumbarumba, a Line Coach with the Ganmain Grong Grong Matong Lions, and a GWS Academy Coach.

He is currently working in Coaching Development with AFL Riverina.

Throughout his coaching career, Fennessy has demonstrated a strong commitment to player development, tactical excellence and building a winning culture.

The Eagles’ selection committee was impressed by Fennessy’s vision for the club and his strong alignment with the Eagles’ core values.

The club is confident that his leadership, knowledge and passion for developing players will help elevate the team’s performance on the field and inspire players across all grades.

Fennessy officially started with the club last week in preparation for the 2027 season.
