Two young Narrandera golfers Edward Partridge and Matthew Kroek were the overall runners-up with a score of nett 56 (plus two) last Wednesday 15 April in the Jack Newton Junior Golf Wagga Par 3 and Driving Range 2 Ball JOM Ambrose event.

This was the ninth JOM event for the year.

Numbers were a little down on this event from the previous year, with 10 players in total competing. Players came from Thurgoona Country Club Resort, Wagga City Golf Club, Narrandera Golf Club and Function Centre, Jindera Country Golf Club and The Rock Golf Club.

Results for the day were:

Overall winner - Callum Creek (Thurgoona CCR) and Mace Hardey (Wagga City GC) = Nett 54 (E) (they had even par off the stick)

Overall runners-up - Edward Partridge (Narrandera GC) and Matthew Kroek (Narrandera GC) Nett 56 (+2)

Overall third - Layla Creek (Thurgoona CCR) and Louie Field (Thurgoona CCR) Nett 60 (+6)
