Narrandera Imperial Football Club will be celebrating its 1986 40-Year First Grade Premiership reunion this weekend commencing with a meet and greet at the Charles Sturt Hotel from 5pm tomorrow.

Celebrations will continue over the weekend at the Narrandera Sportsground on Saturday at the Narrandera Eagles versus Whitton Crows games.

The camaraderie will begin at 9am with junior games followed by under 18s and reserves, a light luncheon in the club rooms with an address from key speakers and finally the senior twilight game starting at 3.30pm and continuing under lights.

Sunday will be a hang-over counter lunch at the Murrumbidgee Hotel.

Among the guests at the celebrations will be coach Richard ‘Curly’ Manogue, who is travelling from Mildura for the celebrations, and 1986 President John Rose, best and fairest Ian Bloomfield, 18, son of Jimmy Bloomfield who played in the 1966 and 1967 premierships.
