Narrandera locals and camping visitors will see improvements to the internal roads at the Narrandera Showground – all thanks to Jack Fraser.

The re-gravelling of the Showground’s internal roads come just in time for Easter and will improve the accessibility for RVs and other vehicles around the site.

“The road is looking so much better,” one visitor enthused.

This is part of continued efforts by the new Trustees of the Narrandera Showground to ensure this historic site can be well-used by today’s community.

Below are the costs for any interested in hiring the Showground or facilities:

Pioneer Hall hiring costs:

• $1250 - Weddings/Balls/multi-day hiring

• $500 - Social event / family gathering

• $350 - Not-for-Profit

• $350 - Short-term events (less than four hours)

• Table and chair hire $15/table, $6.50/chair

• Cleaning fee as required

Outdoor spaces:

• $1500 - Outdoor (not including electricity)

• $1500 - Pioneer Hall

plus grounds (or case by case basis)

Associated costs:

• $50 - Key deposit (refundable upon return of key)

• $1000 - Bond low risk (at discretion)

• $1500 - Bond high risk function

Camping fees:

• $25 for powered

• $20 for unpowered

• $5 for shower amenities

• $5 for water fill
