With less than two weeks remaining until the 2026 Narrandera Town and Country Open Garden Day on Sunday October 25 there is still time to secure tickets to this highly esteemed annual event.

All proceeds from the day will go to Can-Assist Narrandera, supporting local people through their cancer journey.

The $25 tickets are available now via Humanitix and will provide a great day out with family and friends enjoying six beautiful gardens in and around the township of Narrandera.

The ticket price also includes a complimentary Devonshire Tea at the Uniting Church Hall in Narrandera and 25 per cent off at The Shady Gum Nursery on the day.

One of the gardens will host lunch (pre-booking tickets online assists with catering), where there will be several market stalls and the opportunity to hear the two guest speakers on the day - Gary Dal Broi, from Wormtech and Mariah Watkin @country_plant_lady from Hay.

The Plant Stall at Marie Bashir Park should not be missed by those patrons looking for plants at a great price and that do well in the local climate.

“Whether you are a true ‘green thumb’ or an armchair gardener – come along to be inspired, gain ideas and to simply enjoy the gardens of our local area,” said a spokesperson for the organisers.

“ Even if you don’t consider yourself a garden lover – the benefit of a relaxing day out with family and friends, surrounded by flowers and greenery will surely be good for the soul.”

Sponsors who help make this day possible are Bendigo Bank, ProTen, Hutchins Bros., Manildra, GoFarm and McGrath.

This year there are five prizes in the raffle:

First - $300 plant voucher from The Shady Gum Nursery

Second – Garden Essentials Pack from Gunn’s Mitre 10 & Elders Narrandera

Third – Garden Makeover Pack from Seasol and Elders Narrandera

Fourth – Three Garden Design Books from Glenice Buck Designs Gardens

Fifth Garden Improvement Pack – Elders Narrandera.

Gardens open from 9am to 5pm on the day.
