The State Emergency Service says they received more than 110 calls for help overnight on Saturday due to extreme weather, with more than half recorded in the state's south.
A house in Narrandera was directly struck by lightning on Saturday night, with majority of the home’s roof coming off and landing in the property’s garden.
The home’s occupants were evacuated and no injuries have been reported.
Throughout the town there were other reports of property being blown around and damaged due to the strong winds, rain and hail.
