The Narrandera High School Agriculture students team had a very successful time at the NSW Merino Wether Challenge in Dubbo.

The experience began with a tour of Fletcher International Exports, where students followed the production process from live animal through to the different cuts of meat. A huge thank you to Fletchers for providing this valuable opportunity and sharing their industry knowledge with these students.

Eight students then represented the school at the Wether Challenge, putting five months of preparation into practice across in-fleece, out-of-fleece, wool and carcase judging.

Their commitment, teamwork and enthusiasm shown by all students was commendable.

A special thank you was extended to Egelabra Merinos for providing their wethers and supporting the NHS students throughout their preparation and competition.
