The Leeton Harness Racing Club is deeply saddened by the passing of its Life Member and long-time race caller Allan Wallett.

For generations of harness racing families, Allan’s unmistakable voice was synonymous with race day. He brought the Leeton trots to life with his passion, personality and genuine love of the sport, becoming an icon of Riverina racing.

Beyond the racetrack, generations of listeners woke to Allan in their homes each morning through 2RG. His warmth, humour and ability to connect with people made him a familiar and much-loved part of everyday life across the Riverina.

For the club, Allan was more than a race caller. He was a proud Life Member, a passionate supporter and a true friend of harness racing.
