Hi, I’m Pixie, a 16 year old passionate local athlete embracing life with autism, I’m a student at Gralee in Leeton and have recently discovered my love of athletics.

Last year my school introduced me to the ‘come try athletics day’ and since then, I've been hooked on javelin, discus, and shot put.

I took a giant leap forward by participating in the All School Athletes, triumphing to state level and claiming silver in my classification.

Although we couldn’t make it to nationals due to funding constraints, my determination only grew stronger.

Since then, I’ve been training relentlessly, attending Riverina carnivals, comps, and championships, where I’ve consistently excelled.

With the guidance of my mum, who’s been learning alongside me through tutorial videos, I’ve been working tirelessly to master my techniques despite the challenges of executive functioning.

Also being remote really limits options with coaching and training. I’m currently self training three times a week, I'm eager to secure a dedicated coach to help me reach new heights.

I’ve just gone back from the State Championships in Sydney, where I proudly stood on the podium in all my events, I’ve qualified to represent NSW in the National Championships. I’d love to do the Riverina proud.

This achievement comes with a significant cost, and my mum is reaching out to our community for support, hoping to rally behind me and make my dream of competing at Nationals – and beyond – a reality.

Would your business like to sponsor Pixie’s Journey to getting a local para athlete all the way to the finals?

Please reach out if you think you can help. Thank you.
