After a successful stint playing up north in the NTFL and most recently with Corowa-Rutherglen in the Ovens and Murray, Irvin returns to Barellan ready to make an impact.

Irvin took out the Best and Fairest in 2024 and was named in the Farrer League Team of the Year.

A club spokesperson said Irvin had gone away, tested himself against some of the best rucks and key forwards in country footy and more than held his own.

“There’s no doubt he’s added new layers again to his game over the last 12 months, and we can’t wait to see him bring that back to the group — both in how he plays and how he leads.

“Off the field, everyone knows the type of bloke Ross is. He sets high standards, drives the right culture, and brings plenty of energy and care to the people around him.”
