Narrandera artists are well represented at the Leeton Art Society’s Penny Paniz Acquisitive Art Exhibition, currently on at the Leeton Museum and Art Gallery (LMAG).

Narrandera artist Kathy Little won three sections with her colourful paintings - Flora, Birds and Abstract, while Narrandera Camera Club’s Mary-Anne Lattimore claimed the Photography section prize.

The major acquisitive prize was won by Ayla Young from Leeton, and her work will be purchased by the Leeton Shire Council for its local art collection.

Narrandera Art Society’s Kathleen Foster and Julie Briggs were responsible for curating the exhibition this year, while local Lindee Russell represented Western Riverina Arts was a judge. Many of the artists from Narrandera Art Society attended the opening.

The exhibition was open over Easter from 10am to 3pm each day at the LMAG in Chelmsford Place, Leeton and will remain there until May 9.
