The Narrandera Imperial Eagles’ Football Netball Club (Eagles) Under 18s are preparing for one of the biggest games of their lives on Saturday.

The teenage Eagles will play on home turf at Narrandera Sportsground in this season’s Riverina Football League grand final.

Hoping for a large home crowd to cheer them on, the Under 18s will face the Wagga Tigers in the premiership decider at 9.30am.

The Under 18s will be hoping to continue their fine form from the regular competition rounds against the Tigers.

Both games resulted in narrow wins for the Eagles.

In Round 8, the Eagles 8.6 (54) defeated the Tigers 4.6 (30) and in Round 11, just a single goal separated the sides when the Eagles emerged triumphant 7.8 (50) to 6.8 (44).

The premiership deciders at the Narrandera Sportsground in the other grades will feature Coolamon Rovers against the Turvey Park Bulldogs in the senior grand final at 2.30pm and the Collingullie Wagga Demons taking on the Mangoplah Cookardinia United Eastlakes Goannas in the reserve Grand Final at 12.10pm.
