Car enthusiasts and families alike are invited to experience the excitement of the Narrandera Rod Run, set to bring the streets of Narrandera to life with a spectacular display of classic cars, street rods and community spirit.
The iconic event is proudly organised by the Earlies Street Rod and Custom Club, whose passion for classic cars has driven the event’s success for decades.
From an idea proposed by members of the Earlies Street Rod & Custom Club in 1984 to hold a “Back to Narrandera Rod Run” over the Easter weekend of 1985, the Narrandera Rod Run was born.
Since then, it has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated automotive events.
Festivities kick off as early as Thursday, when an array of stunning vehicles begin arriving in town. Visitors and locals can enjoy spotting these impressive machines throughout Narrandera and the surrounding area across the entire weekend.
A highlight of the program is the much-loved “Cruising No Boozin” event on Saturday 4 April, running from 5pm to 9pm along East Street.
This family-friendly evening promises something for everyone, including live music from the EL Tones, amusement rides, and the popular “Eat Street” located along Bolton Street.
Attendees can also get up close to the action with rides on the Narrandera Lions Train (gold coin donation).
The celebrations continue Easter Sunday with the Narrandera Rod Run Show and Shine, taking place from 10am to 2.30pm at Narrandera Sportsground on Victoria Avenue.
This is the perfect opportunity to view the cars up close and personal while enjoying live entertainment from the Kid James Trio, along with amusements, food vendors and merchandise stalls.
The Narrandera Rod Run promises a full weekend of entertainment, bringing together classic cars, great music, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
Don’t miss this iconic event – a weekend of horsepower, nostalgia and fun for all ages.
