Narrandera's NAB customers are disgruntled following several temporary unexpected closures of the local branch.
A reduction of hours earlier this year has also compounded the customers' frustration and made them feel uneasy about the branch's future.
The reasons behind the branch’s temporary closures remains unclear, however NAB Retail Customer Executive Allison Baker said customers would be notified of any changes to the Narrandera branch.
“A decision to temporarily close the branch is not made lightly and only happens after we have exhausted all practical solutions to keep the branch open safely for our team and our customers,” she said.
“The branch team in Narrandera continue to be there for customer conversations, as well as supporting education on evolving digital channels, including video banking, BYO device sessions and online security.
“Any changes regarding the branch status will be communicated with our customers.''
Ms Baker encouraged customers to rely on other banking options.
“Our customers can continue to bank in person at the branch between 9.30am and 12.30pm, Monday to Friday,” she said.
“Outside of these times they can also access their accounts, for deposits and withdrawals at any of Australia Post’s 3,500 Bank@Post locations around the country.
“Here they can conduct a range of banking services free of charge including deposits up to $9,999 and withdrawals up to $2,000 per day, in addition to paying bills.”
