Grong Grong born and bred Peter Skarlis has broken the Boys 16 years Discus record by a whopping eight metres at the Riverina School Sports Association Athletic Championships in Albury.

Peter was representing the Narrandera High School.

He also came first in the Boys 16 years Shot Put.

His next competition is NSW Combined High Schools State Athletics Championships at Olympic Park Sydney in September.

Peter’s record breaking throw measured in at 51.36 metres.
