Murrumbidgee Council is thrilled to announce the annual town pool parties are returning this summer.

These free community events are a fun way for families and friends to cool off, enjoy activities and celebrate the season together.

Upcoming town pool parties:

Coleambally – Tuesday 23 December – 1pm to 4 pm. Join the free Summer Break Pool Party at the Coleambally Swimming Pool.

Take part in the giant slip-and-slide, enjoy free entry, a sausage sizzle and giveaways.

Darlington Point – Wednesday 7 January 2026 – 2pm to 5 pm: Make a splash at the Darlington Point Swimming Pool with the free Summer Break Pool Party.

Enjoy the giant slip-and-slide, free entry, a sausage sizzle and fun giveaways.

Jerilderie – Friday 9 January 2026 – 1pm to 4 pm. Have fun at the Jerilderie Swimming Pool with the free Summer Break Pool Party.

Try out the Inflatable Aqua Island (minimum age six years and compulsory 25m swim test), plus free entry, sausage sizzle and giveaways.

Murrumbidgee mayor Ruth McRae OAM said the pool parties are a fantastic way for families and friends to come together and enjoy the summer holidays.

Cr McRae encourages everyone to bring the kids, join in the fun and make the most of these free community events.
