The Narrandera Lizards reserve team has returned to its winning ways in a thrilling Group 20 Rugby League clash last Sunday to cement second place on the ladder.

The Lizards prevailed in a 14-12 victory against the Griffith Black and Whites, in their away game at Solar Mad Stadium.

Outscoring the Black and Whites by three tries to two, the Lizards bounced back from their 16-12 loss in the previous round against the Griffith Waratah Tigers.

Meanwhile, last week’s Lizards’ jumper auction was hailed as a success, with the Lizards donating $1,000 to the Narrandera RSL Sub-Branch.

The Lizards will be back on home turf at Narrandera Sportsground on Sunday when they host the Darlington Point Coleambally Roosters.

The Roosters sit at the foot of the ladder.

The game is scheduled to start at 1.15pm.

There will be a Mother’s Day raffle drawn at the game.

Tickets are available, priced at $5 each, for the chance to win one of three amazing hampers.
