More than 30 adult anglers and a number of junior competitors took part in the Lockhart Anglers Club's Buckingbong Charlie Pertzel Yellow Belly Competition held in fine conditions over the weekend. Major yellow belly honours went to Matthew McPherson, while Gemma McPherson won the adult female largest fish category. In the junior sections, Frankie Pertzel claimed the female award and Mason McPherson took out the male division. A mystery prize for most attendances and biggest effort, donated by John Veneris, was awarded to Joe Dowdle. Club organisers thanked competitors and volunteers for their support, with additional photos and prize winners from the weekend to be shared in coming days.
