Local tourism operators can now access free practical resources, timely industry updates, and business support through Narrandera Shire Council’s Tourism Industry Hub.

Narrandera Shire’s visitor economy is comprised of a variety of event organisers, businesses, community groups, and organisations who play an important role in the visitor experience.

The Industry Hub brings together useful tools and relevant opportunities in one accessible place, helping local operators promote their business, build their skills and stay connected with the wider visitor economy.

The new online hub features an Industry Newsboard, where operators can find timely information about grant funding, workshops, training programs and opportunities.

Free downloadable resources are also available.

At present, these include an Event Marketing Road Map, a practical guide to planning and promoting an event, and a Business Visibility Checklist, which helps operators review how easily visitors can find their business online.

These online resources complement the support available from the Narrandera Tourism team, who can assist local operators with business listings, grant applications, marketing advice and other tourism-related queries.
