It was all systems go for the staff and volunteers of Fusion Narrandera last week with the visit of the CEO of the organisation Geoff Manton.
Mr Manton spent a couple of days in the town to experience the wonderful work that Fusion does.
He lives in Ballarat Victoria and has been at the helm of the organisation for only four months. With the COVID lockdowns he was previously unable to travel interstate to meet the staff and volunteers in NSW.
He was most impressed with the way Fusion operates in Narrandera and was looking forward to checking out the new store in Coolamon.
While he would have liked to stay longer in the town his extremely busy schedule including Canberra and four centres in Sydney prevented him from doing this.
Mr Manton thanked everyone for their hospitality and continued his journey around the State.
The end of the week saw five Fusion volunteers arrive from Canberra bearing gifts. They assembled over 15 Christmas trees with decorations in the Fusion Op Shop and these are now for sale.
Working with locals over many hours they transformed the shop into a Christmas spectacle with some of the festive items on display.
