Local Land Services is hosting a Producers Support Day, offering practical support for all farmers for the seasonal conditions, at Morundah on Friday, 20 March.

The event will take place between 10am and 4pm, at the Morundah Paradise Palladium, Browley Street.

Local producers are invited to a relaxed, drop-in style event designed to connect them with practical services and support.

They will have the chance to chat one-on-one with a range of service providers offering:

• technical agricultural advice and seasonal conditions updates;

• animal health and production assistance;

• health and wellbeing services;

• financial and business support;

• recovery and assistance programs;

• water quality testing (bring a sample along); and

• feed test kits available to collect on the day.

Chat with a range of experts on topics including:

• managing cattle and sheep through feed stress, and a poor autumn;

• early weaning: timing and best-practice nutrition;

• supplements, rations, and containment feeding strategies; and

• agistment risks and management tips.

Come along, have a cuppa and connect with the people and services to support the farming community.
