Spring fashion is not just for the races, with Narrandera holding a Fashion Parade this Sunday to fundraise for the John O’Brien Festival, to be held early next year.

Country Flair Narrandera is a boutique fashion shop that has come on board to support local fundraising for this event.

Ann Black, owner and operator of Country Flair, has provided outfits for the eleven models in the fashion parade. Mrs Black who has been in the fashion industry for the past 37 years has much experience in styling fashion parades.

Models will be dressed in a range of different summer attire, from casual to formal wear, sporting brands such as Threadz, Sportsware, Jillian, WetSeal and many more.

Mrs Black commented on the event saying; “It’s a wonderful afternoon of fun, and great fundraiser for the Festival”.

The John O’Brien Festival is held bi-annually and aims to inspire up and coming poets and writers in country NSW.

Tony Andracchio, a long supported member of the John O’Brien Festival committee made comment on the upcoming festival in March 2018.

“It is one of the longest surviving Bush poetry festivals in NSW. It’s a big thing for Narrandera, it draws a lot of people to the town.”

“It’s a wonderful thing for the town.Unfortunately, with changes in committees the festival has changed from running annually to biannually.”

The fashion parade will kick off at 2pm on Sunday November 19 at the Narrandera Golf Club, with a $10 entry per person.
