Narrandera is making steps to join Goulbourn (Giant Merino), Coffs Harbour (Big Banana), Gumeracha (Giant Rocking Horse) and Tokyo (Godzilla) in the land of the giants with a plan in place to investigate the viability of erecting a giant eight metre lizard in Marie Bashir Park.

Latest crime statistics released by the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR)  clearly show break and enter dwelling as Narrandera’s most pressing criminal issue with 48 recorded offences during the 12 month period leading up to September 2016.
